Our Story

Premium branded experiences.Done the right way.

We help leading firms create apparel, gifting, and branded experiences people actually want to wear, keep, and remember.

Built on relationships, attention to detail, and treating people the way you want to be treated.

Our Story

It started with college t-shirts.

Always Friday didn't start in a boardroom.

It started with college apparel — one campus, one fraternity house, one sorority order at a time.

Before company stores, gifting portals, and onboarding kits, we were learning how to build relationships, deliver quality, and create products people were genuinely excited to wear.

What began with local college organizations eventually grew into serving more than 500 colleges across the country.

And somewhere along the way, we learned something important:

People remember how you make them feel.

Not just the product. Not just the logo. The experience.

Today, we bring that same standard to the firms who demand the most from their brand.

Learned From The Old School.

We learned this business from Gerald Emory.

Michael Emory grew up around his father's embroidery machines in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Gerald — known to everyone as Mr. Emory — built his company the way his generation built things: one handshake, one stitch, one customer at a time.

At 30, Michael left a career in Silicon Valley and came home to work with him.

For several years he learned the business the only way it can really be learned — slowly, in person, watching how his father built trust with people who had worked with him for decades. He learned that proofs go out the same day. That you call back. That the work either reflects your name or it doesn't.

Eventually he carved out his own lane: hand-drawn custom apparel for the collegiate market. One campus, one fraternity house, one sorority order at a time. That work grew into more than 500 schools across the country.

But the standard never changed. The lessons came from Mr. Emory.

Relationships mattered.

Details mattered.

Integrity mattered.

Do what you say you're going to do.

Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Go the extra mile — especially when nobody's watching.

That mindset still drives everything we do today.

You can't fake going the extra mile.

Mr. Emory

Why We Built Always Friday

The industry felt broken.

Most branded merchandise companies felt: cluttered, transactional, overwhelming, generic.

Too many products. Not enough thought.

No real hospitality.

We watched firms with billion-dollar brands receive merchandise wrapped in plastic, with no card, no care, and a logo printed slightly off-center. And we knew the buyer on the other end had stopped expecting better.

We believed there was room for something different.

Something more premium. More curated. More thoughtful. More relationship-driven.

A company that cared as much about presentation and experience as the firms we serve.

We're the company that still answers the phone.
The one that still cares what the inside of the box looks like.
The one Mr. Emory would be proud of.

If this sounds like the kind of company you want to work with, we'd love to hear what you're building.
